This was focused about customer service and how to keep
customers returning to the business which is least expensive than trying to get
new customers.
I really enjoyed reading Stew Leonard’s experience with his
business and how he established his 2 rules:
1.
The customer is always right!
2.
If the customer is ever wrong, re-read rule 1.
Those 2 rules are very important and are rules I would
really like to use in my business even though it may not always be easy it’s important.
In Stew’s experience his customer returned the eggnog because It was sour and
instead of trying to understand the customer he called her a liar and just gave
her back the money so she would leave. This helped establish the two rules for
his business and it focuses on its customers.
Update on the $100 challenge is that I am having a hard time
finding customers for my business. I think a big reason is that since I am in
Arizona the temperatures are high no one really wants to spend time outside in
the hot. I am going to trying posting about my new business on social media to
help attract more customers.
